A stroll up the hill to
Domáta, Kaligáta and Kourkomeláta
From our base in Avithos we took a little stroll up into these little villages one day, and it was well worth it.
We walked past an enormous old olive tree and a lovely little church.
Stopped off to see the Church of the Theotokos Koimisis and the view over Svoronáta
Completing our ascent past the church of Saint Yerasimos, and pausing in the shade to admire the beautiful houses and gardens of Kourkoumeláta
The view has the Church in the foreground and the little islet of Días at sea.
