Swallow holes 1 kilometre, or so, north of Argostóli on the Lassí peninsula

The force of the water was once sufficient to drive sea mills to produce electricity, but the mills were destroyed in the earthquake and the water force also decreased - one of the mills was reconstructed for decoration.

and as such is brackish.
