Ammes Beach
A couple of kilometres south-west of Svoronáta.
A splendid little sandy beach which shelves gradually into the sea
Kantina, sunbed and umbrella hire available.
It is located at the southern end of the airport runway, so depending which direction the aircraft are taking off it can be really exciting. It's not horribly noisy, no nasty smell of aviation fuel and you can watch them fly directly overhead as they tuck their undercarriage away - great fun and there aren't that many flights each day.
