Myrtos Beach
On the west coast about 10 kilometres west of Agia Efimía, and the same south of Assos, these views were taken from the viewpoint on the Assos side. Myrtos is one of the most photographed beaches.
Fine shingle and sand beach forming a crescent, framed by steep white cliffs, it's a sun trap and gets pretty warm. Accessed by a long winding road, the beach shelves steeply and there can be strong currents.
