The doric rotunda was built in 1829 by British High Commissioner Charles Napier, and then reconstructed to its original plans after the 1875 earthquake.
Sue and I met in a Brighton pub called The Sir Charles Napier, so it was nice to come here.
Of the Greeks, Napier said:-
