Ioannis' Bus
Ioanni owns the bus (leoforio) on Pátmos and runs a regular service between Skála, Chóra, Gríkou and Kámbos.
The timetable is posted on the main bus stops at each of the above and changes according to the season - like most Greek islands, as things start to slow down in September, so the bus service reduces in frequency.
This close up gives you an idea if your Greek isn't quite up to it, APO means from and PROS means towards.
The top line reads "From Gríkou to Chóra"
The bottom line reads "From Gríkou to Skála"
What reads as pm on the left actually means am, and mm in the middle means pm.
The fare from Gríkou to Skála was 1 Euro, while we were there in 2004.
